I remember my first date with a girl and I must admit that it was bad, I hardly found a topic to talk to her, I was like very silent through out the date, we went for shopping and then we had a coffee together with some snacks and the most I talked to her was when she asked for my suggestions when she was shopping and the recipe we ordered when we were at the coffee table. And yes she never wanted to date me again, of course no girls love a date that is boring without any talks.
The reason I can’t able to talk to her was due to the fact that I was shy and it was my first date with a girl and I hardly knew what to talk to her and no idea what a girl likes to talk, so if you are new to dating whether its a girl or a boy just don’t mess up like me and scare away the person from you for future dates, having some fun is what dating is all about and when there is no conversations then there is no fun its all boring. So its really good to have some knowledge on what topics you can choose to talk about on a date that will make it really interesting and fun. So lets see what are the topics you can choose to talk about on a date.
Choosing a topic to talk about really depends on both the person, if you are class mates in a school then you both might have some gossips about what boys think about this particular girls in a class and who they think to be the most pretty girl in the class and same thing can go with girls too, they can share their thoughts about boys in the class and this will get really interesting as both you come to share things that remains a mystery most of the time and both of you will have a great time talking on this. Same goes if you both work together in a office, both of you can share the secrets you know about office and share some thoughts about the works and this type of conversations are really helpful the reason is both of you will find it interesting as both of you are involved in this.
When you choose a topic, just choose something which both of you are involved in, like the ones I mentioned above that will make things more interesting than choosing some topics that are mostly general.
Another thing to remember when you choose a topic is talk on something which you both have some knowledge about, when you choose a topic which only you are good at and the other person hardly have any knowledge about then the conversation tends to get little boring as the whole conversation will be single ended, to make a conversation between you two more interesting its good to choose a topic which you both have some knowledge and interest about. Choosing to talk about movies can be good but be sure the other person likes movies as well and likes to talk on it.
When I used to talk to my girlfriend, I used to talk about things that happened in my real life, there are lots of things you might have come across in your life that are interesting and funny to talk about, you can share those with the other person and when you do that the other person finds it really interesting and they will start to share their own experiences with you, I really enjoy these type of conversations reason is its really enjoyable and also you get to know about the person and also you become little more close with the person when you share your own experiences with them.
Another kind of topic you can choose is talking about a person which both of you know about, it can be anybody, it can be a friend which you both know about, it can be your parents or teachers, there is really no restrictions on about whom you want to talk about, just choose someone which both of you might want to talk on, this kind of conversations really gets interesting as both of you start to share your views about that person.
I am not giving you any clear cut topics on like ok talk about Micheal Jackson on your date or talk about movies on your date like others reason is every individual is different and interest of every individual differs a lot, some people might like to talk on movies and some might really hate movies and like likes to talk about spirituality, so before you go on for a date with anyone just know their interest and start a conversation based on their interest and if possible try to get some knowledge about the topics they are mostly interested in and share the knowledge you gathered with them and let them know that you learned these things for that person, sometimes things can get little romantic that way.
