Internet is taking new turns everyday as many new giants start to popup providing avenues for people to get connected with each other, youtube, facebook, myspace, twitter and may a lot more ways where you can connect to anyone across the globe and at anytime you want but how connected are we really to the people near us?
I remember my mom telling me that I stick to my computer all the time and don’t spend any time at all with her and its not only a complaint from my mom its the same from everyone around me, my friends, neighbors, relatives.. are we really busy connecting ourselves and getting our names popular in the virtual world of internet and not connecting ourselves to people around us in the real world? I see people sticking around their mobile phones, laptops, iphones all the time even when they are out to meet people, they just can’t stop texting and updating their facebook status message or can’t stop tweeting about their status.
Are we becoming too much obsessed with virtual world over the real one? also are we not really connecting ourselves to people in real world where as we are too much worried about our image in the virtual world? how connected are you to your real world? what do you think is virtual world taking away people from the reality? I would love to see your responses.
